One of the most powerful Toltec cleansing techniques is recapitulation. Recapitulation is a simple technique based on breathing and the use of a focused will to reclaim energy. Its purpose is to gather energy that you lost in past interactions. Each day as you interact with the world, you lose some of your own energy and take on the thoughts, beliefs, and energy of others. Recapitulation is a process of deliberate internal cleaning and untangling on an energetic level & Recapitulation is a form of conscious cleaning that frees you from the energetic filaments that connect you to past events of your life. These energetic ties take you out of the moment because whenever you experience similar circumstances these threads are activated, pulling you into the past. Recapitulation reclaims this energy and releases the links to past events. Reclaiming energy allows you to make dramatic changes in the present. This is one of my favorite personal practices
